Jamia Blood Connect by AAJMI is a free, community-driven humanitarian initiative of the Alumni Association of Jamia Millia Islamia (AAJMI), dedicated to saving lives by connecting voluntary blood donors directly with people in need.
The initiative aims to create a simple, accessible and reliable online platform where individuals can register themselves as voluntary blood donors, while patients, families and hospitals can post their blood requirements, specifying the required blood group, location, date and time.
Our mission is simple: No one should struggle to find a blood donor in times of need.
Jamia Blood Connect serves as a bridge between donors and recipients, encouraging voluntary blood donation, social responsibility and community participation.

Never. We do not publish open lists of phone numbers. Only vetted coordinator volunteers access your contact details when a patient requisition is verified in your geographical radius.
How fast can a donor be arranged in an emergency?
For verified requests submitted via WhatsApp or the portal, our coordination desk usually broadcasts within 10 to 15 minutes.
What are the core eligibility requirements for donors?
Age 18–60, body weight exceeding 45 kg, hemoglobin above 12.5 g/dL, and no blood donation within the preceding 90 days (for whole blood) or 14 days (for apheresis platelets).
Is there any fee or payment involved?
Absolutely none. Commercial blood trading is illegal and strictly forbidden by our constitution. All donors are uncompensated volunteers driven by Khidmat-e-Khalq.
